I remember the days when watching TV was free. Yep! Even the Red Soxs. And then the cable companies came knocking. We were told that although we would have to pay to watch cable TV - no commercials. I remember too that it was illegal to “advertise” alcohol and prescription drugs.
Now, we the people, have the pleasure of paying to watch grown men in bathtubs living the “high life” …
Check out if your member in Congress supports “we the people” or if they “support the cable companies.”

My whole life has been about opening, pushing, and sometimes kicking through every door in my way. Ready for a Congress that opens doors for Americans instead of slamming them in our faces?
I've always had to fight: because of who I am, who I love, and where I started. But I didn't let any of that get in my way. In Congress, I'll continue fighting for everyone who's ever been left out or left behind. Because progress is undefeated.
